CAROLINE's Interview with Music of the Future

What is your name?  CAROLINE

What is your genre of music? Pop

Give us a little bio about you. I’ve been singing and dancing my whole life, and I started writing music at 12. I’ve always felt that music is such an amazing and universal language that brings people together and I couldn’t live without it.

What made you go into music? I write songs about everything, it’s how I process what’s going on in my mind and the world.  I’ve always had an indescribable passion for particular pop music, live performances, and being able to connect with people. I never saw myself going into music because I’m not naturally a risk taker but I had to go for it because it’s one of the only things that make me happy.

You released your new single ‘ Already There’, tell us more about the single. I’m really excited about this single because it sends a message of bravery and confidence. I also adopted a fun mermaid theme for the song because when I hear the I think of the beach. I’ve been doing a lot of fun things with this song from a 50 part video series, a podcast, daily listening parties and there’s even more fun stuff coming!

What is the meaning behind ‘Already There’? The meaning behind the song is telling the person who you like how you feel and taking a risk.

Describe the track in two words. Chill, and Beachy

Will we see an EP or Album this year? Hopefully!

Do you have any shows coming up?  I had some but due to the Coronavirus they have been cancelled for health reasons.

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any upcoming artists?  Not right now but I’d love to in the future!

Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with you? and who would they have to contact?  For sure and you could DM on Instagram @carolines_music

You are very entrepreneurial, with your own fashion brand, book and more, tell us more about how all these came about. The fashion brand came because a lot of people were asking for merch but I wanted to do something a little more than merch and create necessities that are glitterful. I’ve always wanted to write a book so I started with a children’s book because children are the future and it’s so important that they are exposed to things like kindness and empathy. That’s where the inspiration came from for CAROLINE’s Life Lessons.
