Hey Caroline! We are so excited to be premiering your new single “I Know Better”. How excited are you that this song is finally out into the world?
I’m SO excited “I Know Better,” is out! I’ve been wanting to put a song like this out for a while now.
Where did the inspiration for the song come from?
“I Know Better,” came from being around a person that didn’t care about my well-being and realizing that I don’t have to put up with being mistreated!
Any fun moments while creating/recording the song?
Creating “I Know Better” was really fun because it went really smoothly! So there wasn’t any writer’s block which I’m thankful for!
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?
I hope they love the song and that it inspires them to get out of toxic situations and have self-respect for themselves.
What’s the process of writing one of your songs?
I usually write a song after anything happens to me to sort through my thoughts. I’ll write a bunch of lyrics and sometimes one will stand out and feel like the hook and I’ll go from there.
Where did your love of music come from?
It’s always been innate, in school I wanted to join choir, I’d love to study lyrics, music structure, and even music videos and live performances.
Will there be a music video for your new single?
I hope so! I’m definitely doing a lyric video and am looking to doing a music video that involves my followers that they can be in, which will be so fun!
Any other fun projects in the works you can tell us about?
I’m working on a lot more music and my fashion accessory line “The Caroline Collection,” is about to drop a new collection within itself that is amazing! Also, I have some live performances coming up!
