Hi!
I hope you're having a blessed Sunday. As a Christian, Sunday is always a special day for me as it's a good reminder to take a minute, read my bible and sing songs of praise on LIVE. I always wanted to share a verse with you. Sometimes a verse can really speak to you and what you're going through and this one definitely did for me and I hope you feel it too.
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths."
-Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Every book of the Bible is great but Proverbs is my favorite as it's the book of wisdom. I'm always trying to gain more wisdom to wrap my head around this strange world.
This verse affected my heart because I've seen it play out in my own life. We want what we want and we want it now! However, sometimes what we want isn't what's best for us or it is God's path for us but it's not the right timing. Patience and prayer is hard but I can promise you, when you think life will never change, one day it will. Keep trusting in God and live in the season you are currently in while waiting and actively working towards what you'd like and the future. Once I started doing this, my path became much clearly.
