A couple of weeks ago when I asked you what you wanted to see me write about on my blog, a lot of people asked me why I started singing. So, today I thought I’d answer that question.
I’ve been singing ever since I can remember. I’d jump at the chance to sing in school choirs from the time I was in Kindergarten. It was just something I always did. I liked singing because it was a way to be free and unleash myself.
When I started acting, so many people in the industry told me that my singing could help my career. So I would always tell people how much I loved singing.
I then started to take singing more seriously by taking a few voice lessons and I studied music theory. Vocal exercises became a new daily habit for me!
The more I sang, the more I loved it. I wanted to feel the songs that I was singing, so I started to write my own songs. I love writing about my life in my songs. I have so much I want to say, and it is a good way for me to have a voice in this world. I knew I had to so something with my songs, so I started recording my music. It is my passion in life and I can't wait to put out original music and share it with you!!
